about
Californian singer-songwriter Art Terry brings gospel-fired psychedelic funk to a subject that preoccupies us up to 388 times a day: sex.
The debut single and video is 'Can't Get No Pussy' which amusingly takes the form of Art's biography at a video dating site. But also has some serious points to make about American prudery. The whole Sex Madness album is a captivating amalgam of cerebral soul and funk, with touches of jazz, blues, psychedelia and gospel
Art also documented a 52 day spell earlier this year when he caught, suffered and recovered from COVID-19. He wrote, filmed and posted a song a day for the entire period. This amazing feat is now being edited into a feature length musical documentary by his partner, photographer and videographer, Helena Smith.
